During most of his academic career Marius has focused on the studies of Public and International Law. In addition to his regular law school he has also graduated from a 2-year program focusing on the Common Law legal system and spent two semesters studying abroad in Japan.
For the most part of his post-graduation time period, Marius has been working with internationally active law firms (e.g. HoganLovells LLP, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer) as part of the Corporate Law/M&A teams. Due to these prior experiences, his PhD focuses on matters of stock corporation law.
Marius’ project deals with identifying regulatory requirements of AI-based algorithms in medical devices in order to establish guidelines for the development process of such algorithms and, therefore, support the technical staff to create a legally compliant product.
